We are learning how to have fun and express our felling's in our 

community 

Next time I would like to have more fun catching some mussels and 

pipes  

The best part I enjoyed was playing in the sand and swimming with my

friends 

Term 3 reflection

what I have enjoyed at school this term is Kapa haka because I express my voice. 

I did really well at listening at my friends more.

I think my listening skills could have been better this term because I am really bad at listening. 

On thing I want to change about being in Tui hub is having separate classes because there isn't much space and it can be very loud.

About my Dad

Bang the bell rang and I sprinted home because it was  the day of my life that I would meet my own dad I wondered if I would ever see him but even though I didn't know him still ran up to him and gave him a big hug my hart was betting so fast.That same day my dad asked"were do use want to go for the day?"we all screamed out"the beach to see the sun set"that was us we were of for the day.We all got some food and that was when he told us he wont be staying for long he said"I am going back to carrot town he told us allot about were he lives".We all had a good day at the beach watching the sunset.We asked him"can you please stay for one night" he started the car and said"sorry kids I got to go back to my house".That was the best time of my life.

WALHT  write an interesting recount I am trying to add more detail.

I found it hard writing this out again.

Next time I want to remember to add more full stops.

We are learning how to write different types of Maori things

I really had allot of fun.

  It was hard cause I made 5 slides.

Next time I would like to try do 1 to 10

Maori language week.

We are learning how to  understand  Maori.

I found it easy and hard at the same time 

because there was to many backgrounds to chose from.

Reflection

This term my best day was going to winter field day.

This term I really liked getting trained for touch and  having heaps of fun.

I am looking forward to get a gold metal from  cross country.

This term it was tricky when other people keep annoying me well I do my work.  

Tui explanation

A tui is a bird 

Tui's  like to eat all kinds of fruits and insects.

Tui's have bluey and green feathers on its body tui's also have a white ball on its neck.

 Tui's have beaks to help them eat food and to peak at the trees tui's have dark tails to help the tui's know where they are going.

 Tui's are found  through much of New Zealand particular the north island,the west coast and south island,Stewart is land/Rakivra the Chatham island-where an endangered sub special particular to these island exists tui's are endemic to New Zealand tui's.

Tui's are notoriously aggressive and will defend a flowering or fruiting trees,or a small part of a large tree,farm all  corners whether another tui or another bird away from in the feeding territory with loud whirring wings

   

WALHT write speech

I learnt how to respond to other people in speech.

I found it hard when we had to put in speech marks and full stops.

Next time i would like to learn more about what speech marks are for.

Samoan Language Week

We are learning how to give speak in Samoan like Talofa.

I learnt how to give felling in Samoan.

I have presented a presentation with my buddy Janaya because it was Samoan week.

Next time i would like to post something of Maori week.
   

Dreaming and climbing

Kia ora today I am telling you my best part of Dreaming and climbing

why I chose this part because it was sad when Whiro had to leave his family 

and his new baby son Tui-Rangi.

To day we had a awesome day we had so much fun in pink for a hole day.
With out our uniform there was some kids in my class that was not in the
photo cause that would be odd pink and red does that match.There was 11
kids that was in uniform.

BULLYING-Pink day

I learn who to not be mean to others and never talk behind peoples back.

Next time I would like to do more safe so that  use all know that I am not a bully.

I like the most was looking for the t-shirt.

CRICKET SKILLS-DEMITRIOUS

I learnt how to catch ,throw,use side on with Lucas in Cricket Skills.

I found it hard because when we throw we have to aim and that  is so difficult for me.

next time i would like to have a try at playing cricket.

kawa of care Chromebook.

I learnt how to take good care of my Chromebook because of kawa of care.
I found it hard because I had to asked people for help and use people chrome to take a picture .
Next time I will try to add more pictures and do more information about kawa of care

Things I dont like-Demitrious

i learnt how to do the things  i can not stand on my own first in my book and then i did it on the Chromebook.

i had fun when i did it because i like the way i did my back round.

i would like to do more color for my back round next time.

Chromebook Care

The activity was about tacking care of my Chromebook it was fun because we got to do a slide show. 


The things I found easy was that I got to insert images of chromes and pictures of things to post on my blog.  

Graphing using Goolge sheets

I was learning to do a bar graph by my self

I created a slide presentation using a bar graph and fruit names.

Mixing concrete-Kingston & demitrious

We have been learning how to mix concrete and see how it smells fells and our one felt so hard because we had rocks.


Next time we should not use rocks because it made it hard and the cup broke.

Maori Language Week - Ta Moko

Maori Language Week - Ta Moko

1. Looked at pictures of ngā Ta Moko.
2. Looked at the meaning in the Ta Moko patterns.
3. Traditionally Ta Moko was made with a chisel.
4. Ta Moko starts out small and grows. The females usually only have their chins done.
5. Painting a mask with skin colour, or close to it.
6. Designed our Ta Moko

We learnt about ta moko and it grows when you get better at stuff.

I found it easy because we just had to pant and design it.

Next time I would do a different pattern.

Demitrious - Cross Country/writing

Cross Country

At first I was in the front and then all of the kids sped past me and then I was at the back and
that’s when I heard roar sounds and I hid behind the tree and I was so scared when I heard a
monkey sound. I thought it was some kids from the kindergarten trying to sound like a monkey
but it was a real monkey swinging above me and then I ran as fast as I could until I heard a big
sound and the ground was shaking I thought it was a car crash but it was a big black gorilla.
I ran fast past the gate and around the field and down into the back paddock and over the
objects and through the goal post. I came last but I didn't care all I cared about was having fun
my mum and dad were so proud of me for trying my best. My friend Brooklyn came first
Janaya came second and Susana came third out of the all the year five girls.

  

I found it hard  because I had to type my story and it took me forever.

We are learning how to recap things that we did on cross country.

Next time I would like to have more details about my story.
